Port Elizabeth the Algoa Bus Company issued a notice Tuesday afternoon that it will be joining a national transport strike following the breakdown of a 12% across-the-board salary increase on Monday.
The metro is home to a number of motor manufacturers.
Many staff from these companies are reliant on bus transportation.
