UITENHAGE - MANHUNT LAUNCHED FOR 3 CRIMINALS WHO ROBBED KWANOBUHLE SHOP OWNER AT GUNPOINT


Detectives from the South African Police Service in Kwanobuhle are searching for three suspects who allegedly robbed a 30-year-old shop owner last night, 19 April 2019 at about 18:30.

It is alleged that the owner was busy closing the shop when he was approached by three unknown males of which one was armed with a firearm. The suspects demanded money and forced the shop owner back into his shop that is situated in Hintsa Street, Kwanobuhle. The suspects took cash, cellphones, hair accessories and they fled in the complainant's Toyota Corolla and drove off. No shots were fired and no one was injured during the robbery. SAPS Kwanobuhle are investigating a case of business robbery.

The vehicle and suspects are still being sought and anyone who might be able to assist with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects is requested to contact the investigating officer, Detective Constable Nyamiso Zinto on 082 319 9223 or Crime Stop 08600 10111.
