Yesterday, 18 October 2016, members of the Port Elizabeth K9 Unit followed up on information in Godongwana Street IKamvelihle and searched premises with the use of Police K9, Shadow.
Shadow consequently sniffed out the firearm. One suspect was arrested for the possession of an unlicensed firearm and detained at Motherwell SAPS.
The suspect will appear in court today
