PORT ELIZABETH - ANC COUNCILLORS INSTRUCTED TO REPORT TO HUMEWOOD POLICE AFTER BLOODY COUNCIL MEETING
Two ANC councillors, believed to have been involved in the violence at a Council meeting in Port Elizabeth last week, during which a shot was fired, and a DA and ANC councillor assaulted, have been instructed to report to Humewood police station.
Police captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg confirmed that two councillors had been told to hand themselves in, in which case they would be taken to court to face charges of assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
