PORT ELIZABETH - GUNMEN OPEN FIRE ON SHACK KILLING 2 IN KLEINSKOOL

Two cousins were killed in a gang-related shooting on Sunday evening.

Lorencia Jantjies, 19, and Courtney Dean Jantjies, 34, died when two gunmen opened fire on the shack they were they sitting in.

Police spokesman Colonel Priscilla Naidu said that it was unknown if the two were the target of the attack.

“It is alleged that on Sunday at about 9pm, two cousins were sitting in a shack at the back of a house with friends in Honour Street, Kleinskool, when two unknown men approached them. The men asked the group about certain people and then allegedly started shooting at the group from the outside. They both sustained gunshot wounds to the head,” she said.

Police are investigating a case of double murder and, according to Naidu, the gunmen are unknown.
