Port Elizabeth's landmark Campanile tower is undergoing an upgrade.The 23 bell carillon is getting much of the attention. Since 1940 the bells have been exposed to pollution and have become covered in thick layers of black carbon robbing them of their crisp sound. But they will ring true soon
