On 24/05 PE #FlyingSquad speedily arrested 2 #hijacking suspects after car chase & shootout, no injuriesOn Tuesday 24 May 2016, members of the Port Elizabth Flying Squad responded to a complaint of a hijacking in progress in Algoa Park area where 3 suspects hijacked a Nissan NP200 bakkie. Within a few minutes, members located the vehicle and gave chase through various streets where a shootout occurred.
Members managed to stop the vehicle and the suspects fled in different directions. One suspect managed to escape, but members arrested two suspects. The suspects are detained at Algoa Park SAPS for hijacking and will appear in court today, 26 May 2016.
