A suspected perlemoen poacher has been arrested after he was spotted in North End this evening.
The Tactical Task Force, SAPS Dive Unit, SAPS K9 Unit and Department of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries followed the vehicle, which is known to authorities and has been linked to illegal perlemoen activites.
In a joint operation, authorities searched a residence in Sidwell Avenue and 316 units of perlemoen were found. The man has been taken into police custody.
