Classes at Rhodes University in Grahamstown have resumed Monday.
Last week saw classes suspended as students took to the streets to protest against what they call a culture of rape on campus.
The protests were preceeded by the release on social media, of a list of alleged rapists.
The Vice Chancellor, Dr Sizwe Mabizela, said last week that the university has to follow the rule of law and cannot take any action against the alleged perpetrators until a legal process has been instituted.
A task team has been set up to rework the sexual harassment policy of the University.
