EASTERN CAPE - POLICE SEEK COMMUNITY'S HELP TO IDENTIFY 2 FIRE VICTIM'S BODIES


Butterworth Police are appealing for community assistance to identify two (02) burnt bodies. It is alleged that police were informed that a shack at Skiti Informal Settlement, Butterworth was burning. When they arrived at the scene, they found that two unknown men burnt to death inside the shack.

An Inquest docket has been opened for further investigation. The cause of the fire is not known at this point in time. The fire occurred on Thursday, 10 October 2019 at about 04:45. Anyone who can assist in identifying the deceased is kindly requested to contact Butterworth Police at 047 401 1124.
