PORT ELIZABETH - COWARDLY GUNMEN SHOOT TEEN IN THE BACK IN SUSPECTED HIT MURDER

The 18-year-old Asenathi Marale was shot and killed in Kovu Street, Zwide last night in what appears to be a targeted killing.

This follows after Asenathi and his girlfriend were walking down Kovu Street at 19:00. Two unknown armed suspects wearing hoodies approached them from the back, and upon seeing them, Asenathi threw down his cell phone and started running away. He was shot in the back and he passed away on the scene. The attackers picked up his cell phone and fled the scene. His girlfriend was unharmed during the incident.
