Uitenhage police spokesperson, Sergeant Majola Nkohli, says in one incident 28-year-old Dwyane Vogel was fatally wounded while sitting in his car in Hen Street in Rosedale - Kamesh.He said according to witnesses, the occupants of a white Isuzu bakkie opened fire on Vogel's car as it drove past.
Nkohli said a second passenger in the car sustained a gunshot wound to the lower body while a third person escaped unharmed.
