A 28-year-old man was allegedly stabbed at Hlakothi Locality, Gusi Village, Elliotdale on Saturday, 25 May 2019 at about 20h00.
He was rushed to Madwaleni hospital, Elliotdale where he was certified dead on arrival at the hospital. Elliotdale Police detectives arrested a 25-year-old man and charged him for the murder of the deceased.
The motive behind the murder is not clear at this point in time. The suspect will also appear before the Elliotdale Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 28 May 2019 on a murder charge. The deceased was identified as Sizwe Magwaza aged 28.
