UITENHAGE - POLICE LAUNCH MANHUNT AFTER GROUP OF ARMED MEN STORM KWANOBUHLE SHOPPING COMPLEX


The South African Police Service in Kwanobuhle in co-operation with the detectives from the Uitenhage Operational Command Centre have launched a search for a group of armed suspects following a robbery at a business at a shopping complex in Matanzima Road, Kwanobuhle at 18:15 last night, Tuesday, 16 April 2019.

It is alleged that a group of armed males forcefully entered the premises of the business and threatened the workers and clients.  The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash from the cash registers and fled from the scene on foot.  No shots were fired and no one was injured during the robbery.  Uitenhage Cluster detectives are investigating a case of armed robbery and they are following up on all possible leads.
