East London police have arrested a 39-year-old foreign national for dealing in drugs.
Spokesperson, Captain Hazel Mqala says the members followed up on information of drugs being kept at Thornburn Terrace in Southernwood on Saturday, and upon searching the premises, more than 4 000 ecstasy tablets with an estimated street value of R401 800 were found.
She says police also confiscated 326 mandrax tablets with an estimated street value of R29 340, as well as an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect will appear in the East London Magistrate's Court on Monday on charges of the illegal possession of drugs and dealing in drugs.
