EASTERN CAPE - QUEENSTOWN POLICE RECOVER R500 000 WORTH OF STOLEN GOODS


Queenstown police arrested two (2) suspects and recovered stolen goods worth R500 000-00 yesterday, 13 March 2019. This arrest was effected after police followed up on information of house breaking goods that were hidden at Queenview Mews at Grey Street in Queenstown. Members were immediately dispatched to the scene, where they to recovered electronic goods namely;
• 2 Think Pad Laptop black,
• Hp Laptop black,
• Generator Orange & Black
• Toshiba Flat Screen TV black
• Black Samsung Plasma
• Hisence Plasma black
• LG Plasma Black
• Telefunken Black
• DVD Samsung + 4 Speakers black
• Omega car radio black
• 3 remote Samsung black
• LG remote black
• Hisense remote black
• Universal TV remote black
• 6 Samsung cellphones
• Huawei phone black
• Microwave silver & Black 
• And cash to the value of R3700-00.
Police arrested two suspects between ages of 25-30-years in possession of suspected stolen property and they are expected to appear in Queenstown Magistrate Court on 15 March 2019. The suspects will also be profiled to determine whether they are linked to other cases of house breakings.
Queenstown Cluster Commander, Major General Funeka Siganga welcomed the arrest and recovery of stolen goods. She applauded the good working relationship between Traditional leaders, Sector Forum and Community members that led to this breakthrough.
