St Francis Bay police have opened an inquest docket after the body of a 58-year-old foreign tourist washed ashore on Sunday.

Police spokesperson, Captain Gerda Swart, said that the man had been missing since 30 March 2017, after he went for a swim.
She said an extensive search was conducted by both NSRI and SAPS search and rescue units after it was reported to them.
The name of the victim will only be released after his next-of-kin was informed.
