PORT ELIZABETH - MYSTERY AROUND SCHAUDERVILLE MAN FOUND WITH GUNSHOT WOUND TO THE HEAD IN NORTH END

Port Elizabeth police are investigating the murder of a man who was found shot to death in Sidon Street, North End, on Tuesday afternoon.

Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, said that “the body of  Dawid Fisher (53) was found lying next to a wall".

Naidu said Fisher sustained a gunshot wound to his head.

“Circumstances surrounding the fatal killing is unknown at this stage. His LDV bakkie was found next to the building,” Naidu said.

She said the deceased lived in Schauderville.

Naidu said that police are appealing to anyone who can assist them in the investigation to contact Lt Col Mike Grobler on 082 442 1825.
