Eastern Cape: Four suspects arrested for the possession of counterfeit money in Kwadwesi.
Yesterday at 11:00, members of the Port Elizabeth Flying Squad and Provincial Divers were patrolling when a vehicle drove recklessly and passed the members who was driving in marked police vehicle.
The members managed to stop the car and searched the suspects to ascertain if they had any weapons in their possession. On one of the passengers, police discovered a counterfeit R200 note.The officers searched the vehicle and suspects and found a total of R13 500-00 in counterfeit notes.
Following investigations at one of the suspect's home led to the discovery of a printer and computer used to produce the counterfeit notes. All documents and computer equipment were seized and four suspects were arrested.
