PORT ELIZABETH - 2 BETHELSDORP MEN FOUND GUILTY OF MURDER AND AGGRAVATED ASSAULT


The two Bethelsdorp men found guilty in the Port Elizabeth High court on 31 October 2016 on charges of murder and aggravated robbery were sentenced yesterday afternoon, 2 November 2016, in the same court.

Charlton Jackson (27) was sentenced to an effective 12 years imprisonment while Fabian Bowers (36) were sentenced to an effective 25 years imprisonment.

The Cluster Commander for Mount Road Cluster, Maj Gen Dawie Rabie commended the investigating officer, D/Cst Uithaler of Provincial Gang Investigation Unit on securing such a conviction especially that this was his first High Court case.
