Over a thousand pupils were admitted to different hospitals in Bhisho Eastern Cape on suspicion of food poisoning. The children were being fed on the government funded nutrition scheme.
The pupils felt sick at school with diarrhoea and vomiting after allegedly drinking expired sour milk.
