On Friday afternoon Constable Oosthuizen of Port Elizabeth K9 Unit was at his residence off duty and on leave when he saw two males running from a shop in Sidwell Area, Port Elizabeth. He gave chase and managed to arrest both suspects and recovered a 9mm firearm.
It was established that the suspects robbed a store in Commercial Road. Suspects arrested for armed robbery and possession of unlicenced firearm. Suspects will appear at court on Monday.
