Alleged wife murderer Christopher Panayiotou will find out in two weeks whether his third bail application has been successful.
The PE businessman is accused of arranging his wife Jayde Panayiotou's kidnapping and killing in April last year.
The defence says the third attempt at bail has been based on new facts.
The defence argues his humiliation on social media is a reason why he should be granted bail.
Another reason is their claim that his arrest had been unlawful.
Panayiotou alleges police assaulted his former employee, Luthando Siyoli, to force him to make a confession and turn state witness.
The prosecution denies this.
Panayiotou's lawyer, Alwyn Griebenow said, “We've finished our argument and the matter has been postponed until 24 June for judgment.”
The trial date has been set down for October.
