The body of a missing teenager from Missionvale, Algoa Park was found early this morning, outside a house in the same area. It is alleged that on 13 June 2016 at about 19:00, Schumané Magielies (17) left home in Camaro Street to visit her brother who resides nearby. At about 03:00, the following morning (14 June 2016) she left her brother’s house. Later that day, her parents reported her missing at SAPS Algoa Park.At about 05:15 today, her body was found lying outside a house in Kadett Street, Missionvale. She was wrapped in blankets and tied up.
Circumstances surrounding her death is under investigation. Police have opened a murder case. Anyone who can assist police in their investigation is asked to contact Detective Captain Harold Seku at SAPS Algoa Park on 0798967749.
