A 47-year-old businessman from Malabar, Port Elizabeth, has been killed following a shooting in Helenvale in the city's northern areas.
Police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, says Naiem Desai was delivering bread to a spaza shop early on Thursday morning with two co-workers.
She says Desai's co-workers heard gunshots while inside the shop and rushed outside.
Janse Van Rensburg says they saw four suspects fleeing the scene.
Desai's firearm and cellphone were the only items stolen.
