PORT ELIZABETH - PAWN SHOP OWNER DIES IN DEADLY CAR ACCIDENT

A Port Elizabeth businessman was killed, and two men were injured in an accident on the M4 near the North End prison on Saturday morning.

Police spokesperson, Capt Sandra Janse van Rensburg says the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle, and it overturned.

She says the deceased, who was the owner of a pawn shop in the city, died at the scene.

The injured were taken to a local hospital.

Police are investigating a case of culpable homocide.

The name of the deseased has not yet been released.
