Three gang members briefly appeared in the Port Elizabeth magistrate's court on Monday, on a charge of attempted murder.
Police spokesperson, Colonel, Priscilla Naidu, says the suspects were arrested by the Gang Task Team at their homes in Gelvandale on Saturday.
The three suspects were involved in a shooting in February, in which two men were shot in front of their house in Shauderville.
Naidu says a 40-year-old man was shot in his arm and upper body while a 33-year-old man sustained gunshot wounds to his knee.
Wendell Pietersen, Keith Bowkers and Brendan Lucas will remain in police custody until their next court appearance on Wednesday.
