Three people were killed and six others injured in a road accident on the R75 between Port Elizabeth and Uitenhage on Tuesday afternoon.Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu said all nine passengers were driving in a white bantam bakkie.
She said the three fatalities were all females and they died on scene. Six occupants were rushed to hospital.
Naidu said the vehicle overturned and police will investigating the cause of the accident.
Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
