PORT ELIZABETH - MAN ARRESTED FOR ALLEGED HIT & RUN INVOLVING 2 SCHOOL GIRLS


A 27-year-old South Africa Breweries employee based in Port Elizabeth has been arrested for allegedly mowing down two school girls in a hit-and-run accident on Marine Drive on Friday night.

Both girls are in a critical condition while the SA Breweries staff member – who was arrested for drunk driving about a kilometre from the accident scene in his damaged Amarok bakkie – is behind bars.
