ARCADIA - SUSPECTED GANGSTER ARRESTED AFTER 4 PEOPLE GUNNED DOWN THIS WEEKEND

Police have arrested a 29-year-old suspected gangster believed to have been involved with the shootings at the weekend that left four people dead.

Two woman and two men were gunned down in a house in Oosthuizen Street, Arcadia, at about 8.45pm on Saturday.

Some of the victims were found inside the house and others lying outside in the yard.

According to police, a group of men in a car were chasing five people, who ran into the house before the shooting.

Only one survived.
