The Port Elizabeth Gang Task Team is appealing to communities in the city's Northern Areas to assist them with information that may lead to the arrest of the suspects involved in a fatal shooting.The incident, in which three people were murdered, took place on the third of December last year, at a house in Potgieter's Grounds in Kleinskool.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, says its alleged that the following day, police received an anonymous tip-off about a shooting that took place the previous night.
Residents allegedly heard several gun shots.
Naidu says police arrived at the scene and found the victims lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.
"The investigating officer in this case is a detective Constable Warren Hansa and he can be contacted at the Mount Road police station or the station at Bethelsdorp. The community can be assured that any information will be treated as strictly confidential" she said.
